Like a professional barber, I'm always focused on the little details of a cut. This Cremo brand story film is centered around the timelessness of the barbershop. We used mock vintage film accent shots to drive the message home. There's a lot of nuance to pulling off the effect well, and just throwing a stock overlay on the footage always falls short. I loved fine-tuning the graininess, shakiness, scratchiness, blurriness, vignetting, and other added little imperfections that helped it feel just right.
